90 Day Challenge - Dance Myself Fit:  Month One... COMPLETE!

I have been dancing myself fit with SHiNE for one month now and I am still loving it!  Each week I have been picking an online class to focus on.  It has been a great way for me to learn the choreography and by the end of the week I’m a PRO (okay, not a pro, but it takes me back to my glory days)!!

I have also joined the online Facebook group that has been created for the online students.  It can sometimes feel like you’re on your own when you do the online classes from your house, but the online group Kendall has created gives you a sense of community!  It is so inspiring to see posts from other SHiNE girls who have been kicking some major boo-tay. 

I danced from age 3 to age 18 which means I'm kind of a dance snob when it comes to dance fitness classes.  I could never find one that was challenging, yet fun.  And honestly, SHiNE has been PERFECT for me!  I can tell that I love SHiNE because when I'm driving in my car and a song comes on that was part of a class playlist, I can't help my do the dance moves in my head (or for reals if I'm at a stop light of course!).  I think doing something that I used to love and had missed so much is making this journey SO.  MUCH.  EASIER!


I wanted to share two go-to "treats" that I have found that have been a huge help as I have been on this journey. 

First, is Zevia.  I had been craving soda quite a bit.  Or just something refreshing to drink.  I found these drinks called Zevia that are modeled after our favorite cola products.  So they have Dr. Zevia, Cola, Black Cherry, Cherry Cola… and tons more.  Each drink has ZERO calories, ZERO sugars, ZERO fat, ZERO everything.  And they taste great!  These drinks have been saving my bacon!


Second go-to treat... Halo Top!  Oh my goodness.  My absolute favorite EVER!  I had tried so many “healthier” ice cream options and they all tasted… well… HORRIBLE.  I had heard about Halo Top and figured it would be the same thing, but boy was I wrong.  My favorite is by far the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.  I'm hungry just writing this.
